Resetting your Pixel Buds Pro 2 can help resolve Bluetooth connection problems, pairing glitches, syncing issues, and other common bugs. The process only takes a couple of minutes and is easy to follow.

Before starting the factory reset, I recommend removing the Pixel Buds Pro 2 from your phone’s Bluetooth settings. In the tutorial, I demonstrate this on an Android device by opening Bluetooth settings, selecting the Pixel Buds Pro 2, and choosing “Forget Device.”
Once disconnected, the factory reset process is simple. Open the charging case and press and hold the button on the back of the case. After several seconds, the status light will begin flashing. Continue holding the button until the light stops flashing and then begins flashing orange and white. This indicates the hard reset process is underway.
When the light changes to flashing white only, the reset is complete and your Pixel Buds Pro 2 are ready to pair again like new.
If you are continuing to use the earbuds, you can immediately reconnect them to your Android phone or other Bluetooth device through the Bluetooth pairing menu.
