How to Save a Webpage as a PDF in Google Chrome

Need to save a webpage as a PDF for offline viewing, sharing, or printing? While Google Chrome includes a built-in print feature, using a dedicated extension can often provide cleaner and more reliable results when saving webpages as PDF files.

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to save a webpage as a PDF in Google Chrome using the free GoFullPage extension. This simple tool allows you to capture a webpage and download it as a PDF file in just a few clicks.

  • 🔍 How to find and install the free GoFullPage extension
  • 🧩 How to access your extensions using the Chrome puzzle piece icon

Once the extension is installed, simply navigate to the webpage you want to save and launch GoFullPage from your extensions menu. The extension will generate a capture of the webpage and give you the option to download it as a PDF file.

In the tutorial, I demonstrate this process using the Northern Viking Everyday website. After creating the capture, I show how to download the PDF, save it to your computer, and open it to confirm everything was captured correctly.

Saving a webpage as a PDF can be useful when you want to keep a copy of online content for future reference, sharing, or printing.

With GoFullPage, the process is quick, free, and easy to set up in Google Chrome.
